Conservation Fund AAP

The wording of the AAP elector response form has been approved by the RDOS board.  The elector form will appear here:

Recall that we have been around the block a few times with the conservation fund (see thread). Let me know if you have any questions about this.  It is a large investment but I think it is fair to see it as just that--an investment.

The deadline for speaking out against the proposal is December 5th, 2016.  5,603 negative responses are required in order to halt the bylaw and trigger a reassessment.  Reassessment could involve a referendum (which is expensive, which is why the board opted for an AAP).  Alternatively, the board may simply drop the initiative.
