West Bench metered water rates

A study of potential approaches to metered water pricing was provided at the September 15th RDOS Environment and Infrastructure Committee meeting.  I extracted pages from my own marked-up copy of the board report:

West Bench water rate structure review

The consultant recommends a 30% variable + 70% fixed rate with a farm rate.  Public information sessions will be held on this issue in early November.  Standby for more information.

Update: The public meeting is booked for November 24th, 2016, at 6 PM 6:30 PM in the West Bench School gym.  The purpose of the meeting is to:

  1. Summarize our findings regarding water use on the West Bench (based on meter data).
  2. Examine the pricing alternatives outlined by the consultant (see the report above).
  3. Hear your views on the topic.
