From Theresa Nolet:

I was informed on Saturday that a horse had been hit on the hiway just north of the entrance to the Skaha Hills development. Apparently it was reported being hit on Friday Morning Sept 26 at approximately 7 a.m. The RCMP responded and had to shoot the horse as it was still alive. I went to the scene at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Saturday Sept. 27 and the body was still in the ditch. I have attached a photo for your information. The horse was a young filly born this year. I myself had reported the horses to the RCMP being in that spot on Sunday Sept.21 at approximately 7:30 p.m.
